Job summary

McCormick & Company, Incorporated is hiring a Maintenance Work Leader for the 3rd shift at the Hunt Valley Plant in Hunt Valley, MD. You will manage predictive and preventive maintenance, oversee packaging and fermentation equipment, and lead a team to meet safety, cost, and quality goals.

You will coordinate resources, audit work orders, and drive continuous improvement initiatives while reporting to the Team Manager Maintenance. Overtime and weekend work are required as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and five years of maintenance experience.
• Proven ability to diagnose mechanical/electrical problems and perform repairs.
• Strong PLC and electronics knowledge with experience in flow meters, VFDs, sensors, PID loops.
• Experience with CMMS, ERP systems, and changeovers on production equipment.
• Demonstrated leadership, training, and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily maintenance activities for predictive, preventive, and proactive programs.
• Oversee packaging, blending and fermentation equipment maintenance and inspection.
• Coordinate resources, monitor performance, and drive plant loss closure.
• Audit work orders, ensure safety protocols, and develop direct reports.
• Lead cross-shift communications and problem-solving using structured methods.
