Job summary

McCormick & Company is hiring a Maintenance Work Leader for the 3rd shift at the Hunt Valley Plant in Hunt Valley, MD. The role oversees maintenance of packaging, blending and fermentation equipment, leading a team to meet safety, reliability and cost goals.

Under the Maintenance Team Manager, you will direct predictive and preventive maintenance, coordinate work orders, and drive continuous improvement initiatives such as PDCA and 5 Why. Overtime/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical/electrical problems and operate PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily maintenance activities for predictive, preventive and proactive programs to improve reliability.
• Coordinate cross-shift communications, review work orders and ensure timely completion.
• Develop direct reports, foster a collaborative team environment and drive continuous improvement.
