Job summary

Keurig Dr Pepper Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for its Allentown aseptic bottling and packaging facility.

This 12-hour night shift role focuses on installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving equipment to maximize production while upholding safety and quality standards. You will lead maintenance activities, train line operators, and contribute to TPM, Lean, and Six Sigma initiatives, with pay starting at $37.38/hour and increasing to $39.39/hour after six months plus a

Qualifications

• 3 years’ direct maintenance experience maintaining, troubleshooting, & repairing mechanical & electrical systems.
• Demonstrated mechanical/electrical skills.
• Ability to read and understand complex instructions, prints, flowchart, block diagram, and schematics.
• Computer knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to get along with others, be punctual, and follow instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and healthy environment, demonstrating safe behaviors at all times.
• Focus on Good Manufacturing and Food Safety practices in all work.
• Analyze mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic or electrical problems and make repairs through adjustments, defective parts replacement, or fabrication.
• Teach basic mechanical skills to line operators to support autonomous maintenance, TPM functions, equipment set-up and center lining.
• Fabricate, repair, and install hangers and all types of piping including hot/cold water, steam, process and condensate, utilizing formulas for all phases.
• Fabricate or replicate minor pieces for the repair or replacement of parts on equipment.
• Complete size changeovers and troubleshoot liquid fillers and packaging equipment.
• Identify root causes of mechanical and electrical failures and resolve with effective problem-solving tools with minimal downtime or supervision.
• Generate productivity and continuous improvement ideas.
