Pratt Industries in Dayton, OH, seeks an industrial maintenance technician responsible for maintaining production equipment, site facilities and assets. You will troubleshoot complex equipment applications and support production to reach optimum performance in a hybrid shift (Mon-Thu, 5p-3a).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Education or training in a skilled trade (mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.).
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools and electrical test devices.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, diagrams and sketches.
• Ability to multitask and communicate effectively.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and building maintenance issues in a timely fashion.
• Provide support for production equipment to reach optimum capabilities.
• Establish root cause analysis on equipment failures.
• Support projects and continuous improvement efforts.
• Support 5S systems and GMP compliance.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Perform adjustments to reach optimum capabilities and meet production schedules.
• Continually expand knowledge of maintenance practices and technologies.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
