Kraft Heinz Company in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for night shift. The role focuses on maintaining production equipment and the facility to keep lines running safely and efficiently.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems while following food safety policies and safety procedures. Welding, basic tool use, and safe work practices are required for this non-union facility.

Qualifications

• Education: High school/ GED diploma required. Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Two to three years’ experience of Industrial Maintenance in a similar environment preferred.
• Must be able to work safely and communicate effectively.
• Basic electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing knowledge and welding are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and services production equipment to keep in good working order.
• Proficient at troubleshooting and adjusting production equipment.
• Maintains a safe working environment to comply with safety and food safety standards.
• Participate in QRMP yearly audit and assist in corrective actions.
• Accountable for the QRMP system and factory standards.
