Colgate-Palmolive is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support production lines, troubleshoot and repair equipment, and perform preventative maintenance. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a climate-controlled plant setting.

You will work with operators, review electrical schematics, and assist with root cause analysis while maintaining spare parts inventory and adhering to GMP and Food Safety standards.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1+ year of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to work an off-shift work schedule that includes weekends.
• Basic math (core arithmetic operations, read a tape measure, SAE and Metric knowledge)

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoots, repairs and conducts preventive maintenance for production and utility equipment.
• Reviews project instructions, blueprints, electrical, and pneumatic schematics to ascertain test specifications and solutions.
• Assists with root cause analysis to identify equipment failures and breakdowns.
• Functions as a technical resource on project and improvement teams.
• Proficient user of SAP-EAM and other electronic tools, documenting Maintenance activities.
• Adheres to GMPs and Food Safety; supports facility safety programs.
• Records test procedures and results; recommends changes in product or test method.
• Fabricates machine parts as needed for repairs including welding and machining.
