Job summary

Campbell Soup Company is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support reliable plant operations on the 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM night shift. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment to keep production up and running while upholding safety, quality, and GMP standards.

You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and document all activities. The role requires strong mechanical skills, PLC familiarity, and a commitment to food-safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of one year of production experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand English to perform responsibilities.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical systems.
• Ability to work a 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM night shift schedule.
• Willingness to overtime and weekends as needed.
• Commitment to GMPs and food safety.
• Ability to successfully complete required testing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment and respond to mechanical and electrical issues throughout the facility.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair manufacturing machinery to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
• Monitor equipment performance and proactively identify opportunities to prevent failures and improve reliability.
• Provide mechanical and electrical support during assigned shifts.
• Troubleshoot and maintain PLC‑controlled equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Follow all plant safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and GMPs.
