Job summary

Worthington Armstrong Venture (WAVE) is seeking Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians to join our team in Maryland. We offer 10‑hour night shifts (Mon‑Thu or Tue‑Fri) or 8‑hour shifts (Mon‑Fri) with possible overtime.

Base starting salary is over $73,000 annually, with higher pay for qualified candidates. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing and installing equipment, using CMMS, reading blueprints and schematics, and safely operating tools and lift equipment.

Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years of mechanical or electrical experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in PLC programming.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Relocate before starting work.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and install equipment in compliance with plant codes, policies and procedures.
Safely utilize machine shop equipment, hand tools, power tools and precision‑measuring instruments.
Identify root‑cause issues and take proper corrective actions without needing assistance.
Assist in the debug, repair and installation of equipment used in the manufacturing process.
Use CMMS system to accurately complete work orders.
Maintain all work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition at all times.
Actively participate in communication and WAVE culture.
Able to operate fork trucks, scissors and aerial lifts to perform job assignments (will train).
Perform these and other related duties as assigned or directed.
Able to lift a maximum of 40 pounds.
Able to stand 8‑10 hours per day at assigned work area.
