Base starting salary is over $73,000 per year, with potential for higher wages for qualified candidates and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, life insurance, vacation, quarterly profit sharing, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of mechanical or electrical experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 2 years of PLC programming experience.
• Relocation required before starting work.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and install equipment in compliance with plant codes, policies, and procedures.
• Safely utilize machine shop equipment, hand tools, power tools, and precision‑measuring instruments.
• Identify root cause issues and take corrective actions independently.
• Assist in debugging, repairing, and installing equipment used in the manufacturing process.
• Use CMMS system to accurately complete work orders.
• Maintain all work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Actively participate in communication and WAVE culture.
• Operate fork trucks, scissor and aerial lifts as needed (training provided).
• Perform related duties as assigned or directed.
• Lift a maximum of 40 pounds.
• Stand 8–10 hours per day at the assigned work area.

Job Summary

Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians are needed for night shift work at WAVE. The role involves maintaining and operating production equipment to optimize availability, quality, and speed across both mechanical and electrical subsystems.

Schedule

One opening for the night shift. Options include 10‑hour shifts (Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday) or 8‑hour shifts (Monday through Friday). Some overtime may be required.

Compensation

Competitive wages with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and life insurance, vacation, quarterly profit sharing, and a 401(k) plan. Base starting salary is over $73,000 per year, excluding overtime, and may be higher for qualified candidates.

Desired Experience

• Familiarity with troubleshooting high‑speed production equipment and conveyor systems.
• Basic understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical control systems.
• Ability to maintain, repair, and rebuild mechanical components.
• Experience replacing bearings, shafts, couplings, motors, gear boxes, etc.
• Fabrication skills for simple brackets and installations.
• Basic hand tools; specialized tools will be provided.
• Reading blueprints and understanding machine manuals.
• Welding skills are a plus, but not required.
• Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing PLCs, HMIs, control systems, and motors.
• Reading ladder logic, schematics, and blueprints.
• Diagnosing, repairing, or replacing defective parts and wiring.
• Installing interlocking safety devices, conduit, electrical panels, and other accessory components.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 4 years of mechanical or electrical experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in PLC programming.
