Novolex is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Alsip, IL for nights (5:00pm–5:00am). You’ll troubleshoot, maintain and set up production equipment, diagnose issues, and work with inventory systems to locate parts. Qualifications

• Analytical, problem solving, and strong technical skills including mechanical, electrical and PLC programming.
• Strong skills in customer service, interpersonal, oral and written communications, teamwork, planning and reliability.
• HS Diploma or equivalent; preferred associates degree.
• 3+ years technician experience.
• Must have own tools and be able to use them safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic troubleshooting and maintenance on production/automation equipment.
• Performs maintenance, setup and PM on production/automation equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment related processing issues.
• Uses computer-based inventory system for generating reports and locating spare parts.
• Performs maintenance connection day-by-day duties and assists maintenance/production staff.
• May assist in training other employees.
