Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Alsip, IL facility. The role starts at $32–$34 per hour with nights 5:00pm–5:00am. You will troubleshoot, maintain, set up and PM production/automation equipment, diagnose processing issues and manage spare parts inventory using a computer-based system.

You may train other staff and must work safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of technician experience, strong mechanical, electrical and PLC skills, and owns their own tools

Qualifications

• Analytical problem solving and strong technical skills in mechanical, electrical and PLC programming.
• 3+ years technician experience is required.
• Must have own tools and be able to use them safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic troubleshooting and maintenance on production/automation equipment.
• Performs maintenance, setup and PM on production/automation equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment related processing issues.
• Utilizes computer-based inventory system for locating spare parts.
• Performs maintenance day-by-day duties and assists staff as needed.
• May assist in training other employees; executes duties safely and efficiently.
