Job summary

Terex/Genie in Moses Lake, WA is hiring a Maintenance Technician I for the night shift to support the Moses Lake Maintenance team with hands-on troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. You will work on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, use PLCs when needed, maintain CMMS records, mentor junior technicians, and coordinate repairs with planners and vendors.

The role requires 1–3+ years of experience, an Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field, and a commitment

Qualifications

Minimum 1–3+ years in a maintenance/facilities technical role with advancement.
Proven experience maintaining mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
Experience with control systems like PLCs is often required.
Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and manuals.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair complex malfunctions in pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and conveyor systems.
Implement and perform preventive maintenance; assist in predictive maintenance programs.
Inspect equipment regularly for safety hazards and improvements.
Lead, train, and mentor junior technicians; prioritize work orders and projects.
Maintain accurate CMMS records for maintenance activities, inventory, and work orders.
Coordinate repairs and projects with planners, departments, contractors, and vendors.
Respond to emergencies to troubleshoot and perform repairs.
Follow safety, health, and environmental regulations and company procedures.
Perform as a project manager for assigned maintenance projects.
Delegate and schedule tasks for the maintenance and facilities teams.
Occasionally verify inventory levels and order parts when necessary.
