Job summary

CRH is seeking a maintenance technician to oversee equipment upkeep and repair across manufacturing processes and plant machinery. This role focuses on safe, efficient production of coatings and requires strong troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, electrical and pneumatic work, welding, and assisting with plant equipment installations. Overtime may be required in a team-focused, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of maintenance experience in manufacturing or distribution.
• Understand basic electrical and pneumatic diagrams; 12 VDC–480 VAC wiring; diagnose 115 VAC control circuits.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and repairs to conveyor systems.
• Arc welding and oxy/fuel cutting experience.

Responsibilities

• Make repairs and adjustments to machinery and assist in dismantling all or parts of machinery to repair or replace defective components.
• Operate shop tools and equipment related to maintenance as skill level permits.
• Assist in electrical projects and performs minor electrical repairs.
• Assist in pipe fitting tasks and some installation tasks unassisted.
• Perform portions of repairs to power industrial equipment and assist in rebuilding related equipment.
• Assist in installation of new plant equipment.
• Maintain production equipment to maximize uptime and safety for quality coatings.
