Job summary

James Hardie is seeking a Maintenance Technician IV to support 24/7 operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role offers a night shift with a 10% differential and a starting pay of $35.00 to $40.00 per hour, Monday-Friday or Sunday-Thursday depending on scheduling.

A $3,000 sign-on bonus is available. You will help maintain extrusion processes, assist in line commissioning, and participate in TPM initiatives while coaching operators on preventive maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Two-year maintenance certification preferred.
Experience with PLC logic is a plus.
Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
Welding and forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintains production lines and equipment to run continuously.
Develops and prioritizes work orders with Maintenance Manager, Production Supervision and Line Leads.
Completes work orders per directions.
Supports 6S and TPM programs.
Coaches and trains operators in daily preventive maintenance checks.
Supports preventive maintenance on the shift.
Contributes to line commissioning after maintenance events.
Participates in plant projects as needed.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
