ADM Maintenance position in Effingham, IL is an hourly role with night shifts (Mon-Thu, 8:00 PM–6:30 AM) and possible overtime. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing plant equipment, preventive maintenance, and equipment installation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior maintenance experience
• Vocational or technical training in a mechanical field or equivalent industrial experience
• Basic knowledge of process equipment
• Forklift driving experience
• Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair plant mechanical equipment and electrical systems
• Perform preventive and emergency maintenance and purchase parts
• Maintain knowledge of production processes and equipment for diagnosing malfunctions
• Perform preventive maintenance duties and maintain equipment knowledge
• Install new equipment and make electrical connections
• Develop knowledge of maintenance files, parts, vendors, and access information
• Perform welding as needed to repair equipment
• Document time and parts used using the RCI system
• Conduct regular inspections and daily preventive maintenance
• Maintain maintenance records and provide them to designated location
• Promote ADM Way and Core Values
