Job summary

G&W Electric Co. is seeking a Maintenance Technician III for night shift (10:00pm–6:30am) to support production and facilities. You will troubleshoot, repair and install complex electrical and mechanical equipment, read drawings, and train others in maintenance tasks.

The role offers a broad range of welding, fabrication, and preventive maintenance responsibilities. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in manufacturing, read complex instructions, and can operate independently with English as the

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot, repair and install complex electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Read and work from construction, mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Basic construction skills in light metal fabrication, carpentry and plumbing.
• Install, maintain and repair manual and automated machinery independently.
• Understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and install complex electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Work on process controls and electronic controls.
• Operate and maintain secondary distribution systems.
• Perform welding and metal fabrication tasks.
• Perform general maintenance on machines, conveyors and structural material.
• Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule.
• Coach and train others in maintenance tasks as needed.
• Communicate status of repairs and uptime to supervisors.
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
