Job summary

G&W Electric Co. is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to perform maintenance on a range of advanced electrical and mechanical equipment, including manual and automatic machines.

You will troubleshoot, repair and install complex systems, read technical drawings, and contribute to preventive maintenance with a focus on safety and efficiency. The role requires welding and fabrication skills, ability to work independently, and strong communication with supervisors.

Qualifications

• Has experience reading construction, mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Eligible to operate manual and automatic machines; welding with arc, gas or MIG.
• Capable of installing, maintaining, and repairing a range of machinery independently.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and install complex electrical/mechanical equipment.
• Work on process/electronic controls and power systems.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules with supervision.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and use resources efficiently.
• Train others in maintenance tasks as needed.
• Document actions and communicate status to managers.
