Job summary

SanMar in Sparks, NV is hiring for a Facilities II position in the DC. The role focuses on general maintenance, carpentry, and preventative upkeep to support daily distribution center operations.

Shift is 12:30pm-9:00pm with pay starting at $19.68 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential, commensurate with experience. Candidates should have 1–3 years of facility maintenance and be able to use hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of facility maintenance experience required.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment preferred.
• Excellent organization and ability to prioritize daily responsibilities.
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance principles and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance or carpentry, minor repairs, and routine painting.
• Assist with preventive maintenance on building mechanical equipment; inspect belts, fluids, replace filters, grease bearings, seals.
• Relocate, move, and adjust furniture as needed.
• Respond to inquiries and resolve facility-related issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain HAZMAT records and interact with outsourced building services.
• May operate powered lift equipment and maintain repair logs.
• Comply with policies and standards and perform other duties as assigned.
