Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for a night-shift role in a cheese packaging facility in Hiram, OH. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to maximize uptime.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of maintenance experience. SAP experience is a plus, and OSHA/QA safety standards are essential. This is a permanent, onsite position.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
At least 1 year of maintenance experience and/or training.
Fundamental understanding of manufacturing processes.
Entry-level production machinery knowledge.
Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

Respond promptly to production requests and address equipment issues affecting production.
Perform routine and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment.
Maintain accurate records of preventive maintenance activities.
Create requisitions for parts and supplies needed to maintain and repair equipment.
Assist other maintenance personnel and resolve complex issues.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems using blueprints and documentation.
Support PLC troubleshooting as needed for automated equipment.
Follow safety policies and GMP/SQF procedures.
Document work and access relevant maintenance information.
Comply with OSHA regulations in the production environment.
