Job summary

NOW’s manufacturing facilities seek an experienced Maintenance Technician to support process equipment on a Fri–Sun 6:00 PM–6:30 AM shift. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain high-speed packaging machinery, assist engineering with new installations, and mentor less experienced staff.

You must read blueprints, work with PLCs, and ensure safety and cGMP compliance. The role requires strong problem-solving, teamwork, and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school plus a minimum of two years of related experience OR a minimum five years related experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of machine troubleshooting, electrical, mechanical, fabrication, pneumatics, hydraulics, OSHA standards, cGMP’s, lock-out/tag-out is required.
• Food or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installs, operates, maintains, repairs, lubricates, and troubleshoots complex processing and high-speed packaging machinery and other equipment in the facility.
• Performs predictive and preventative maintenance activities as outlined in the CMMS system.
• Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots all types of A/C and D/C electrical equipment.
• Fabricates components using standard shop equipment.
• Assists Engineering in installation of new equipment and works from drawings or sketches.
