Job summary

Aerotek in Plymouth, WA is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a fast-paced food processing facility. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation to keep production equipment safe and compliant with OSHA and NEC standards.

The position starts with day shift training and transitions to a night schedule, with overtime opportunities and a strong emphasis on safety, documentation, and collaboration with production teams to improve equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in food processing or manufacturing.
• Strong experience in electrical troubleshooting up to 480V (3-phase systems).
• Knowledge of AC/DC systems, PLCs, transformers, motor controls, and Allen-Bradley components.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and work with technical diagrams and schematics.
• Experience repairing and maintaining industrial machinery and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment to reduce downtime and maintain efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for accurate repairs and modifications.
• Safely work with high-voltage systems (up to 480V, 3-phase).
• Maintain and repair equipment including motors, pumps, conveyors, and packaging machinery.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and NEC standards.
