Job summary

Permobil, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Skilled Technician for the night shift in Belleville, IL. This full-time role runs Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with a pay range of $28.00 to $32.00 per hour.

The candidate will perform preventative maintenance on ROHO equipment, repair and service machinery, and help implement a predictive maintenance program. Strong mechanical skills, PLC/HMI familiarity, and safe work practices are required.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree from college or technical school or 3 to 5 years direct related experience or an equivalent combination.
• Forklift; man lift; valid driver's license.
• Good communication skills; mechanical aptitude; fabrication skills helpful; PLC and HMI skills helpful; good reasoning skills; good problem solving skills.
• Manual dexterity to handle items and operate tools; strong reading and comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all ROHO equipment by performing preventative maintenance, inspecting and repairing equipment, and assisting with special projects.
• Ensures operation of machinery by observing equipment, repairing and maintaining machinery, and performing preventive maintenance.
• Manage equipment database by maintaining written records and logging work and failures to establish predictive maintenance.
• Adjusts parts by installing functional and structural parts on devices or equipment.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by operating machinery safely and reporting hazards.
