Job summary

Permobil is seeking a Maintenance Skilled Technician for the day shift (6:00am-2:30pm, Monday–Friday) in Belleville, IL. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, inspection, and repair of ROHO equipment to ensure uninterrupted production, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

You will document work, log failures, and participate in continuous improvement, working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or 3–5 years direct related experience or an equivalent combination.
• Good communication skills; mechanical aptitude; fabrication skills helpful; PLC and HMI skills helpful; good reasoning skills; good problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ROHO equipment by performing preventative maintenance and repairing equipment.
• Ensures operation of machinery by observing, repairing and maintaining production equipment and electrical components.
• Manages equipment records and logs to support predictive maintenance.
• Installs functional parts and adjusts devices and control instruments as needed.
• Maintains safe, clean work environment and adheres to safety policies.
