Job summary

Stryten Energy in Milwaukee is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic for a nights shift (6:00pm - 6:00am) on a rotating schedule. You will troubleshoot, repair, and service plant equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and document work orders in CMMS.

The role requires 5+ years in maintenance (or 3+ years at Stryten Energy in Maintenance Utility), a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift 90 pounds. Own tools and training in forklift, scissors lift, and Lock Out/Tag Out are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years on-the-job experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic.
• Or 3+ years at Stryten Energy in Maintenance Utility and meet that position's qualifications.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be able to lift 90 pounds.
• Good attendance and performance history.
• Motivated self‑starter able to work alone and in groups to solve problems.
• Must demonstrate competence in at least 3 of 6 areas: Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Welding, HVAC.
• Must have own tools and demonstrate basic computer skills for the CMMS.
• Must complete forklift and scissors lift training.
• Must learn lifting skills up to 10,000 lbs. with a forklift or crane.
• Must complete a Lock Out/Tag Out training program.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and water system problems on all plant equipment and facility using available prints.
• Performs all assigned preventative maintenance tasks on all plant equipment and facility.
• Accurately completes all maintenance work orders in the CMMS.
• Maintains product quality and personnel safety during work.
• Maintains housekeeping, cleanliness, and organization of the Maintenance Department.
• Reports unsafe conditions to the Supervisor for immediate action.
• Supervisor may assign additional duties as production requires.
