Job summary

SMC Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to keep our manufacturing equipment running smoothly at our Amery, WI facility.

You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair pumps, boilers, conveyors, and related machinery, collaborating with the production team to minimize downtime and uphold safety standards. This hands-on role requires climbing ladders and working in varied environments, with opportunities to improve preventative maintenance practices and contribute to overall

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of two years maintenance experience; injection molding preferred.
Basic troubleshooting and reading blueprints; knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, and robotics.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair and fabricate production equipment; welding, cutting, assembly, painting, finishing.
Perform maintenance of manufacturing equipment, dismantle machinery/equipment remove defective parts, repair/replace parts, building and grounds, and install equipment as directed.
Perform preventive maintenance as directed.
Regular attendance.
