Job summary

The Electrical/Mechanical Technician at Standard Textile will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on all equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and support preventative maintenance across the facility.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with experience in industrial maintenance and knowledge of 3-phase motors, PLC drives, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's degree in Industrial Electricity/Electronics preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance (including welding) preferred.
  • Knowledge of 3-phase motor wiring, starters and electrical systems required.
  • Knowledge of PLC programming, drives and control systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot & repair equipment malfunctions.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to the building and machines.
  • Perform work related to PLC drives and VFD (variable frequency drives).
  • Maintain spare part inventory.
  • Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
