Job summary

Standard Textile is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to help ensure product quality in inbound and outbound streams. You will perform inspections and tests, and communicate issues to the team to uphold standards.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to use measuring tools, and prior QA experience is preferred. You will stand for long periods and may lift up to 35 pounds while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Visual inspection skills and quick learning of inspection programs.
  • Willingness to bend, stoop and lift 35 pounds; stand for long periods.

The Quality Assurance Inspector

The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for identifying and communicating any problems concerning inbound and outbound product quality.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Perform inspections and tests of products in an effective manner
  • Conduct daily audits of receiving, shipping and production activities
  • Ensure quality specifications are met for all products and procedures
  • Maintain a safe and productive work environment
Qualifications Include:
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to use measuring tools and calculators
  • Quickly and efficiently learn internal inspection programs
  • Perform visual inspections
  • Previous quality assurance experience, required
  • Experience in textiles, preferred
  • Must be able to bend, stoop and lift at least 35 pounds consistently
  • Requires standing in one place for long periods of time
  • Produce accurate and quality work at a rapid and steady pace
