Job summary

Novolex in City of Industry, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain production equipment and ensure uptime. The role involves machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance on packaging and production machinery.

The position requires at least four years in a manufacturing maintenance role, electrical training for 480V 3-phase systems, and experience with VFDs and PLCs. The shift is 3rd, 10:00pm–6:00am, with starting pay $34.27 to $41.14 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in a maintenance mechanic/technician role in a manufacturing environment.
• Electrical training/experience with 480 3 phases/machine controls.
• Experience with VFD Drives and PLCs preferred.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen.
• Work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance service.
• Provides emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs.
• Performs mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Safely operate and repair forklift.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
