Job summary

Novolex is hiring a Maintenance Electrician in Stockton, CA to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical systems in a manufacturing setting. You will install, maintain and repair equipment across plant operations, facilities, and storage areas.

The role requires reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and strong adherence to safety protocols. The position offers a 2nd or 3rd shift with potential training on 1st shift, and a starting pay of $37.44 per hour.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of electrical maintenance experience in industrial settings
• Read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Basic computer skills required
• Experience leading teams successfully
• Trained in lockout/tagout procedures

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and wiring diagrams for installation and repair of equipment and facilities
• Disassemble, repair/replace parts, and maintain motors, pumps, conveyors, belts, fans
• Clean, lubricate and adjust mechanical parts as needed
• Perform major electrical repairs including 3-phase, 440V, and PLC troubleshooting
• Isolate defects in wiring and electrical components using testing instruments
• Replace faulty switches, sockets and other electrical elements
• Install electrical transformers and lighting fixtures
• Adhere to safety procedures including lock-out/tag-out
• Communicate issues to supervisors and maintenance leads
• Cover mechanical and electrical equipment on off shifts
• Perform minor machine work and welding as needed
