Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Maintenance Associate for the Grant Park, IL facility. You will troubleshoot and maintain automation equipment, perform PMs, and support production while following safety rules.

The role requires a strong electrical background (PLC, Allen-Bradley), experience with VFDs and low voltage, and the ability to work Sundays through Thursdays on the 11:00 PM–7:00 AM shift. Tools and reliability matter for this hands-on, safety-focused position.

Qualifications

• Requires strong analytical, problem solving, and technical skills.
• Experience in plastics industry preferred.
• Must have own tools and be able to use them safely.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic troubleshooting and maintenance on automation equipment.
• Performs maintenance, setup and PM on automation/production equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment-related processing issues.
• Follows safety rules and keeps area safe, clean and tidy.
