Job summary

Heather Gardens Association in Aurora, CO is seeking a dependable Maintenance Associate for the overnight shift (10:00 P.M. – 6:30 A.M.).

The role includes responding to overnight maintenance needs, completing work orders, and performing routine repairs to keep a 55+ residential community safe and well-maintained. You will handle carpentry, plumbing, electrical tasks, and general upkeep, while coordinating with a small team and escalating complex issues as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two or more years of related maintenance experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and independently complete routine maintenance and repair work.
• Sound judgment and ability to determine when to escalate issues.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance and repairs, including carpentry, caulking, painting, and door/window repairs.
• Complete basic plumbing repairs involving drains, faucets, and valves.
• Perform minor electrical work such as switches, outlets, lighting fixtures, and detectors.
• Assist with HVAC, boiler, and other building-system issues within scope of training.
• Respond to overnight maintenance calls and complete open work orders on time.
• Manage daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal maintenance tasks.
