Job summary

AmeriLux Family of Companies (AFoC) is seeking a dedicated maintenance technician to support our continuous manufacturing team. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and support new equipment installations to maximize uptime, efficiency, and product quality.

Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth operation and high standards. The role requires hands-on mechanical/electrical skills, blueprint interpretation, safety awareness, and reliability mindset.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance and repair experience on production equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and machine documentation.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues using diagnostic tools and implement corrective actions.
• Support equipment upgrades, installations, and commissioning of new machinery.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and performance data.
• Provide technical support and training to operators and team members.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
• Communicate with production, engineering, and external partners to resolve equipment issues efficiently.
