Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is hiring a Maintenance Technician at our distribution center in PA. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing facility equipment, conveyors, PLCs, and related systems, with safety as a priority.

You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and train teammates while working with external vendors to complete projects. Shift-based hours and competitive hourly pay apply.

Qualifications

• 2-year vocational/technical certificate or degree in mechanical or electrical applications
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience
• Welding, burning, cutting experience required
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes and PLC controls
• Able to read electrical/mechanical drawings/schematics
• Strong safety awareness and LOTO experience

Responsibilities

• Adhere to OSHA safety standards and LOTO procedures.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility and conveyance equipment; document work in PM system.
• Report spare parts usage to Maintenance leadership to ensure inventory levels.
• Train junior technicians to raise performance and troubleshooting skills.
• Collaborate with outside vendors to complete DC projects safely and timely.
• Perform other duties to support DC operations.
