Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Distribution Center in Pennsylvania. The role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility equipment, conveyors, and PLC-driven systems to keep operations running smoothly.

Candidates should have an Associate’s degree in a mechanical or electrical field and 3–5 years of related experience, with welding and hydraulics knowledge. Strong safety awareness and ability to read drawings are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or similar technical training preferred.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in industrial or DC environments.
• Experience with welding, cutting, and related processes.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes and PLC controls.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to OSHA safety requirements and LOTO procedures.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment and conveyance systems; document work in asset management system.
• Report spare parts inventory and daily usage to leadership.
• Train junior technicians to elevate performance and troubleshoot assets.
• Collaborate with vendors to complete projects safely and on time.
• Take on additional duties to support DC operations.
