Job summary

Mars is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a 12-hour Night Shift (6:00PM - 6:30AM) on a 2-2-3 schedule. You will troubleshoot AC/DC electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, automation, and mechanical equipment on process and packaging lines in a fast-paced facility.

The role requires a technical background or 2+ years in industrial maintenance, with strong problem-solving skills and willingness to develop additional technical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; technical degree/trade cert a plus or 2+ years in industrial maintenance.
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic schematics or mechanical drawings to troubleshoot equipment.
• Willingness to develop required technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and overhaul equipment within close tolerances.
• Perform routine electrical and mechanical problem-solving on process & packaging equipment.
• Conduct Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) with minimal guidance.
• Support Operations in equipment setup, changeover and operator training.
• Document Work Orders (WO) using SAP-PPM Plant Maintenance.
• Participate in TPM initiatives and coach technicians/operators in AM activities.
• Follow Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) and GMP safety requirements.
