Job summary

Mars in Cleveland, TN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair process and packaging equipment on a 12-hour night shift (6:00 PM–6:30 AM, 2-2-3 schedule).

Responsibilities include routine electrical and mechanical problem‑solving, performing PMs and PdM, supporting line setup and changeovers, documenting Work Orders in SAP‑PM, and upholding Lockout/Tagout and GMP safety standards for uptime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Technical Degree/Trade Certification OR 2+ years work experience related to industrial maintenance.
• Fundamental understanding of Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic Schematics and/or Mechanical Drawings to solve equipment problems.
• Willingness to develop required technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Capable of troubleshooting, repairing and overhauling equipment within close tolerances.
• Perform routine electrical and mechanical problem-solving on process & packaging equipment.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM's) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) on Process & Packaging Equipment with minimal guidance.
• Support Operations in equipment setup, changeover and training of operators in Autonomous Maintenance (AM) activities.
• Document Work Orders (WO) using Computerized Maintenance Management System (SAP-PPM Plant Maintenance).
• Demonstrate engagement in TPM Theory and Concepts through participation in Pillar Teams and training fellow Technicians/Operators in AM activities including Breakdown Analysis (BDA).
• Understand and adhere to Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) Procedures, Confined Space Procedures and all GMP requirements related to uptime.
