Pennex in Wellsville, PA is hiring a Maintenance Tech for a night shift (7pm to 7am) with rotating weekends. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing production and facilities equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree or equivalent and 5+ years of related experience, including welding, PLC logic, and knowledge of bearings, gear reducers, and piping installation.

Qualificações

• Five or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience should include welding competency, hydraulic and pneumatic circuit components, knowledge of relay logic components, PLC logic components, bearings, gear reducers, equipment alignment and piping installation.

Responsabilidades

• Responds to service calls to diagnose and repair equipment; prioritizes repairs with leadership input.
• Diagnoses malfunctioning equipment and repairs or replaces hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, combustion and electrical components.
• Performs scheduled preventive maintenance on plant equipment including extrusion presses and furnaces.
• Inspects air compressors and compressed air systems daily; checks water systems and extrusion presses.
• Installs or modifies equipment to improve reliability and safety.
• Completes daily work sheets and adheres to safety and housekeeping standards.
