Pennex is seeking a Maintenance Tech for the Wellsville, PA location. The role focuses on repairing and maintaining production and facilities equipment with strong diagnostic skills across mechanical, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, combustion, and electrical systems.

The position operates 7pm–7am with rotating weekends, offering opportunities to work on extrusion presses, furnaces, and related systems while ensuring safety and reliability across the plant.

Formación

• Associate degree or equivalent preferred.
• Five+ years of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Welding competency and knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic components.
• Experience with relay logic, PLC logic, bearings, gear reducers, and piping installation.
• Ability to read safety rules, manuals, and technical instructions.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to service calls to diagnose and repair equipment, prioritizing repairs with leadership input.
• Diagnose malfunctioning equipment and repair or replace hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, combustion, and electronic components.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on extrusion presses, furnaces, and related equipment.
• Inspect air compressors, air systems, water cooling and extrusion equipment daily.
• Install or modify equipment to improve reliability and safety.
• Complete paperwork on daily worksheets and follow safety policies.
• Maintain neat, safe work area and support housekeeping in Maintenance and plant areas.
