Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Clayton, NC seeks a Maintenance Technician for night shifts to improve systems and equipment reliability. Join a growth-focused team, perform preventive/corrective maintenance, interpret electrical diagrams, and ensure safety and compliance in a fast-paced pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Expect rotating 12-hour nights, SAP-recorded work, and collaboration with process owners to boost efficiency and reliability across critical production lines.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent military/industry training covering mechanical, electrical & control systems.
• Night shift hours 6-6, 12-hour shifts, 2 days on/3 days off pattern.
• 1–5 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with SAP preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and technical documents; computer literacy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and environmental requirements in performing duties.
• Follow SOPs in performance of duties.
• Develop and establish maintenance procedures, plans, and spare parts lists.
• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance in a timely manner.
• Interpret mechanical and electrical specifications and drawings.
