Job summary

Sysco is seeking an Operations Maintenance Technician in South Florida to perform routine and high-level maintenance tasks. You will assist with material handling equipment and facility repairs while upholding food safety and quality standards.

The role requires 2+ years of maintenance experience, the ability to work night shifts and occasional weekends, and the capability to read electrical schematics. Training on safety practices is provided.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience: 2+ years in facility maintenance / preventive equipment maintenance.
• Experience with Food Processing Equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food safety and product quality.
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment per manufacturer guidelines.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair machinery and equipment.
• Set up and break down processing equipment as needed.
• Maintain building systems (plumbing, lighting, etc.).
• Operate safely and follow OSHA guidelines; report hazards.
