Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking a maintenance technician to perform routine and high-level maintenance, assist with equipment and facility repairs, and ensure food safety and product quality. The role requires night shifts and occasional weekends, with strong safety and teamwork expectations.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in facility maintenance, and knowledge of electrical systems. A background in food processing equipment is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of single and three-phase electrical systems (AC/DC) required.
• 2+ years of facility maintenance/preventative maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and facility machinery following manufacturer guidelines.
• Inspect and test machinery; communicate problems to operations staff.
• Diagnose and repair equipment using manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
