Job summary

Target is seeking an Engineering & Facilities Maintenance Technician 1 (MT1) in Suffolk, VA. You will maintain and repair automated material handling and facility equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and support supply chain operations to ensure high equipment availability.

You will collaborate with Senior Systems Engineers and other mechanics to diagnose issues and restore service efficiently. Ideal candidates demonstrate basic PLC/HMI familiarity, fault diagnosis, and the ability to read

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Familiarity with electrical/mechanical systems preferred.
• Basic PC skills and ability to read schematics are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and restore operations quickly.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE to ensure a safe work environment.
