Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America invites applications for a Technician I in our Maintenance Top Cap department at the Nevada Gigafactory near Reno. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and routine operator support on production machinery.

The job requires staying on Night - D Shift, with PPE and safety protocols in place. Excellent documentation and teamwork with operators are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Must have working-level knowledge of English, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Minimum of 2 years of production or manufacturing experience.
• Skilled with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Check settings, gauge readings, and sensors regularly to keep machines operating at proper specifications.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines according to documented requirements.
• Make continuing visual and audible observations of the machines to detect abnormalities.
• Tighten bolts and inspect belts and chains for wear and tear for proper tensions.
• Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities such as cleaning and lubrication of machines, changing oil and parts.
• Maintain complete and accurate records of all work done on equipment.
