Job summary

Clayens US LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician Level I for the 3rd shift in a plastic molding environment. You will perform routine mechanical and electromechanical maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, read schematics, and support hydraulic/pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.

You will collaborate with production and engineering, conduct preventive maintenance, and ensure safety compliance while developing technical skills in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 12 months in a maintenance/manufacturing role.
• Must read and interpret machine schematics and diagrams.
• Ability to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical and electromechanical maintenance on plastic molding machinery and related equipment.
• Inspect machinery regularly to identify wear, malfunctions, or potential failures and take corrective action as needed.
• Work from drawings, mechanical and pneumatic/hydraulic prints, electrical diagrams to troubleshoot and locate problems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems to minimize production interruptions.
• Read and interpret machine schematics and control circuitry diagrams to guide repair and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support machine setup and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance inspections of hydraulic/pneumatic valves, lines, connections, and pumps.
• Adheres to all safety requirements.
