Novolex is hiring a Maintenance Associate I for the Kinston, NC facility. The role focuses on lubrication, contamination control, inspection, and proactive maintenance of mechanical systems, with a 3rd shift from 12:00am to 8:00am.

Starting pay ranges from $24.14 to $26.42 per hour, with weekly pay and overtime as needed. Responsibilities include inventory coordination, reservoir maintenance, and oil analysis.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in maintenance, preferably in manufacturing.
• Good oral and written communication skills and strong team-building abilities.
• Ability to work effectively without supervision.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including OEM maintenance plans and blueprints.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations for inventory and relubrication quantities.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate inventory and routine ordering of lubrication products.
• Stock inventory locations and manage dispensing equipment.
• Perform lubrication tasks and operate filtration equipment.
• Drain, clean and fill reservoirs; schedule planned lubrication activities.
• Update scheduling systems and process work orders for maintenance needs.
• Perform field-level oil analyses and collect samples for lab testing.
• Document discrepancies and report corrective or preventive maintenance.
• Adhere to lockout/tag-out procedures during maintenance activities.
