Job summary

Pratt Industries in Beloit, Wisconsin is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday, 11 pm–7 am). The role centers on installing, maintaining, and repairing plant equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and reading electrical schematics.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience, strong electrical and mechanical skills, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Electrical and mechanical experience required.
• Reading blueprints, schematics, and other information.
• Safety guidelines and procedures must be followed.
• Basic PC skills and ability to read measurements.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair machines and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on pumps, motors, die cutter machines, hydraulic systems, conveyors, steam systems, and related plant equipment.
• Interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams and drawings.
• Mount electrical components including drives, servos, PC’s, PLC’s, circuit breakers, transformers, relays and connectors.
• Conduct wiring and termination using appropriate tools and safety practices.
