Job summary

Pratt Industries in Beloit, WI is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3-11 PM). This role installs, maintains, and repairs plant machinery to ensure safe, efficient production of corrugated board.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Able to read and apply blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical systems.
• Familiar with safety policies and procedures.
• Able to use hand and power tools.
• Good communication with coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair machines and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on pumps, motors, conveyors, and related systems.
• Read electrical/mechanical diagrams and drawings.
• Mount drives, PLCs, relays, circuit breakers and control devices.
• Join parts using crimps, screws, rivets, soldering with tools.
• Wire components and label wires.
• Decide wiring sizes/routes using experience and data.
• Cut, strip, bend wire and conduit.
• Solder connections and crimps.
• Perform varied trades like plumbing and carpentry as needed.
• Inspect and test assemblies to specs.
• Maintain safe, clean work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
