Saputo Cheese USA Inc. seeks a maintenance technician to schedule and perform preventative maintenance across ammonia refrigeration, HVAC, boiler, and related systems.

You will work with outside contractors, maintain logs, and ensure safe, compliant operations in a fast-paced dairy facility. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, familiarity with CMMS and basic electrical/mechanical drawings, and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must read and understand instructions; basic math skills.
• Ability to read manufacturer manuals and mechanical/electric diagrams.
• Proficient with computers including CMMS and common office tools.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts and weekends/holidays when needed.
• High School Diploma or GED; 2-year degree in mechanical/HVAC preferred.

Responsabilités

• Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance with outside contractors.
• Troubleshoot and repair ammonia refrigeration systems, HVAC, boiler, and related systems.
• Maintain refrigeration logs and records of time, material and parts.
• Operate forklifts and comply with safety procedures; report hazards.
• Attend required trainings and shift meetings; participate in safety programs.
