Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a 4pm–4am shift on-site in Almena, WI. You will troubleshoot electrical issues, support the PM program, and perform preventative and repair maintenance on production equipment, heating/cooling, and plumbing systems.

You will document tasks and respond quickly to maintenance calls to prevent downtime. The role emphasizes safe handling of chemicals and adherence to hazardous communication requirements.

Qualifications

Experience troubleshooting electrical issues and equipment breakdowns.
Ability to perform preventative and repair maintenance on production equipment.
Familiar with electrical controls, circuits and PLCs.
Safe handling of chemicals with proper safety practices.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot electrical issues and equipment breakdowns on the production floor.
Support the preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime.
Perform and document maintenance on heating, cooling, and plumbing systems.
Start machines to test operation and verify repairs.
Record maintenance tasks and respond to calls promptly.
