Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a 4pm–4am shift on-site in Almena, WI. You will troubleshoot electrical issues, support the PM program, and perform preventative and repair maintenance on production equipment, heating/cooling, and plumbing systems.

You will document tasks and respond quickly to maintenance calls to prevent downtime. The role emphasizes safe handling of chemicals and adherence to hazardous communication requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting electrical issues and equipment breakdowns.
• Ability to perform preventative and repair maintenance on production equipment.
• Familiar with electrical controls, circuits and PLCs.
• Safe handling of chemicals with proper safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical issues and equipment breakdowns on the production floor.
• Support the preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime.
• Perform and document maintenance on heating, cooling, and plumbing systems.
• Start machines to test operation and verify repairs.
• Record maintenance tasks and respond to calls promptly.
