Job summary

MìLà is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Sumner, WA to uphold and service the plant’s boilers, pumps, and related mechanical systems. You will monitor, test, and adjust water treatment, perform routine repairs, and ensure safe operation in a fast-paced production environment.

The role requires 2+ years in maintenance with ammonia/refrigeration, basic electrical troubleshooting, and a commitment to safety. Full-time, on-site position with opportunities for growth and hands-on training.

Qualifications

2+ years of progressive work experience in ammonia refrigeration, steam boilers, and air compressor operations and maintenance.
Valid driver's license and ability to be added to corporate insurance.
Ability to pass a physical examination and Respirator Fit Testing.

Responsibilities

Maintenance and repair of boilers, pumps, valves, air compressors, and related equipment.
Monitor load demands and start or shut down equipment to maintain output.
Test and adjust water treatment chemical levels; ensure safe operation.
Inspect equipment and logs; report abnormal operating conditions and assist in repairs.
Perform minor repairs and replace defective components as needed.
Maintain clean, safe boiler room and assist with annual boiler inspections.
